Guardianship offers one solution to help adults who are not capable of making decisions on their own, such as where to live or when to seek medical treatment. PBN has two projects helping people navigate this complex court process. In one project, volunteer attorneys assist clients in drafting documents for people seeking to become guardians for family members. In the second, we specifically work with families of children who, due to developmental delays, will need a guardian once they become adults.
